چکیده

Introduction. Myxoma is the most common intracardiac tumor accounting for about 50% of all heart tumors. The symptoms depend on size tumor, its location and mobility. Embolic manifestations coronary arteries are extremely rare, occurring in 0.06% cases, they caused by fragments. Case Report. A 54-year-old female patient was admitted an acute myocardial infarction with ST segment elevation inferior leads. Urgent angiography performed showing no vessel stenosis. In projection left atrium, a mobile mass partial calcification registered, which stained to lesser extent contrast agent. These were nutrient vessels typical ?tumor blush? sign. An echocardiographic examination showed round, inhomogeneous fixed interatrial septum. findings presented cardiology team urgent surgical extirpation performed. During follow-up period two years, doing well normal finding, without recurrence tumor. Conclusion. Acute people risk factors ischemic disease very rare. cause this type syndrome spontaneous artery dissection. embolization myxoma fragments rare phenomenon. Echocardiographic method choice diagnosis myxoma. effective treatment these patients resection low operative mortality.

Coronary artery embolization after left ventriculography: A rare cause of myocardial infarction

Coronary artery occlusion and myocardial infarction (MI) secondary to embolization of intracardiac masses such as thrombi or vegetation is a rare clinical entity (1, 2). Here we present a case of coronary artery embolization (CAE), which occurred after left ventriculography (LVG) in a patient with inferior MI. A 62-year-old woman was admitted to our emergency department with typical chest pain ...

Acute Anterior Myocardial Infarction Accompanied by Acute Inferior Myocardial Infarction: A Very Rare Coronary Artery Anomaly

Coronary artery anomalies are rare and mostly silent in clinical practice. First manifestation of this congenital abnormality can be devastating as syncope, acute coronary syndrome, and sudden cardiac death. Herein we report a case with coronary artery anomaly complicated with ST segment myocardial infarction in both inferior and anterior walls simultaneously diagnosed during primary percutaneo...

Isolated hypoplastic circumflex coronary artery: a rare cause of haemorrhagic myocardial infarction in a young athlete

Hypoplastic coronary artery disease is a rare condition that may lead to myocardial infarction and sudden death. Here we describe for the first time an isolated hypoplasia of the left circumflex artery (LCX). An otherwise healthy and athletically active 16-year-old boy was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. He died 12 hours after the initial event. A...

Left Atrial Myxoma: A Rare Nonatherosclerotic Cause of Acute Myocardial Infarction

Myocardial infarction from coronary artery embolism is a very rare but potentially lethal sequel of left atrial myxoma. Most atrial myxomas causing myocardial infarction are diagnosed retrospectively after a 2D echocardiogram is performed for assessment of myocardial function after a myocardial infarction. We present a relatively healthy 53-year-old male with anterolateral wall myocardial infar...

A rare Congenital Coronary Artery Anomaly: Woven Right Coronary Artery associated with Myocardial Infarction

Woven coronary artery (WCA) is an extremely rare and still not a clearly de ined coronary anomaly. It is characterized by the division of epicardial coronary artery into thin channels which then reanastomose with the distal part of the abnormal coronary artery [1]. Since the angiographic imaging of WCA looks like an intracoronary thrombus and dissection; the differential diagnosis between ather...
